Splattered Christmas

Hello Everyone!

Today I would like to share a card I made to join in with the current Take It, Make It challenge over at the Craft Stamper blog - click here to see all the challenge details and to see some fab inspiration from some of the Craft Stamper DT too.

I created my card by stamping the robin from IndigoBlu using black versafine ink and the masking it.  I then used olympia green versafine to stamp the tree branch from Tim Holtz and the sentiment from Papermania.  Next I stamped the splatters, these are all stamps from Inkylicious and I used Distress Inks in Squeezed Lemonade, Picked Raspberry and Salty Ocean.  I removed the mask from the robin and coloured him and the holly leaves using various distress markers.  I then used glossy accents to give him a nice beady eye!

I then mounted this onto black cardstock and popped it onto a white 5x7 card blank.

Thanks for visiting today,

Claire x

  1. This is so cool, those neon brights against the traditional Christmas images, I'm loving the contrast! Thank you for playing along with the Craft Stamper Blog Challenge!
