Hel's Sunday Stamper is 300!

Hello Everyone!

I hope everyone is well and busy with imaginative and wonderful crafting projects this weekend :-)

I have created a tag to join in with Hel's 300th Sunday Stamper:

This was my first gelatos attempt - I think I might need to practice a bit more with them as I'm not sure how I really feel about them just yet.
So I took my tag and smeared various gelatos colours onto it and blended them. I continued like this for quite a while, adding bits of colour here and there - I started using a baby wipe to blend them as I found this easier.

Once I was happy with my background I added the stamping - all using black archival.  The sentiment (with the required word - dream) is from Andy Skinner, the woman image is from Inkylicious and the decorative swirls is the end of some hair on an Indigo Blue stamp.
I added a little colour to the woman's lips and eyes and just to finish highlighted her eye with a white paint pen.

Paperartsy Make - Inspired by Ellen Vargo

Hi everyone

Today I've made a tag inspired by Ellen Vargo who is the guest designer on the Paperartsy blog this week.  You can see Ellen's Paperartsy makes *HERE*

Here is the tag I've made using Ellen's techniques as a starting point:

So Ellen used a brayer to add the Fresco Finish paints onto her projects.  I started my tag by adding Mermaid, Candy Floss and Orchid with my brayer.  Then I added a little Beach Hut and South Pacific also using the brayer:

Next I added Grunge Paste through a SplodgeAway mask:

I rubbed Royal Amethyst Treasure Gold onto the Grunge Paste with my finger and stamped the circles from JOFY14 using Snowflake Fresco:

I stamped the flower and stem from Eclectica ELB01 onto some card using a mix of Mocha Mousse and Toffee.  I coloured the centre dots of the flower with a gold gel pen, rounded out the petals and leaves with a ball tool, then added to the tag.  I also stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set using onyx black versafine, cut out and doodled a line around the outside before adding to the tag:

So there we are - all finished!  A totally different colour scheme from the ones that Ellen has been using but one I'm really loving at the moment :-)
Thanks for stopping by my blog today - don't forget to pop over *HERE* to see what everyone else was inspired to create!
