Hi Everyone,
Thank you for visiting my blog today.
The current challenge over on the Paperartsy blog is patterns. You can check out all the info and the wonderful DT makes HERE.
Every Saturday Paperartsy are releasing new products at the moment and last Saturday it was a brand new designer to them - Seth Apter. I love Seth's work and am looking forward to going to a workshop with him in September.
So I had to get his two new stamp sets ;-)
I've used one of the stamps here to create a simple little card - not at all like Seth's style I have to say!
I created the background pattern using the stars from Seth's set which is called ESA02 with cornflower blue archival ink.
I used some flower heads from Paperartsy Kim Dellow set EKD03 onto vellum to create a couple of balloons.
The word shine is also from the same Kim Dellow set - I embossed this onto the vellum with Lindy's Stamp Gang midnight sapphire. It's a lovely colour but very difficult to pick up the shine in the photos.
Assembled it all together with some threads for the balloon strings and all done.
Thanks for looking,
Claire xx
