Challenge two over at the new Clarity Stamp Challenge blog is "In The Garden" and here is my card for the challenge:
I created the background using my new gelli plate then stenciled the flowers over the top using black soot distress ink. I cut the square using an xcut die and distressed it using olive green and pine needles. I then stamped the lily of the valley in black versafine and coloured it using promarkers and used a white pen to highlight the flowers. I stamped the lily round the edge of the square in the olive green distress ink and then edged it with black soot.
I mounted the background onto black card and tied the black organza ribbon around the card before mounting the lily square using foam pads.

I have, so far, resisted the Gelli plate but you make me think I 'need' one now! This card is stunning Claire, the background is wonderful with the stencilling and that image of the lily of the valley is just beautiful. A gorgeous card! Hugs, Anne x
